Well, our second round of snow didn’t amount to as much as they expected. In 24 hours I heard everything from 4 inches to 24 inches. We ended up getting another 6 on top of the 14 we already had. However, it melted very quickly the next day. I wanted to share these photos to illustrate.
I took this about 1 a.m. It was snowing then, on top of the snow we had left from the previous snowfall. You can see the walkways had been cleared before this snowfall started. (Thanks to my neighbor, Bob!)
This was taken the next afternoon, after a rather warm day by comparison.
Even now we still have snow on the ground. It’s receding at the edges.
It was a beautiful snow and we’re thankful for the moisture.
